Capturing life-affirming moments of beauty in the natural world, Anne Farrall Doyle creates highly nuanced pieces of art that will evoke longing for the countryside wherever they hang.
Her soft brush strokes create a delicate, dream-like quality while the use of light and shade, and careful selection of colour gives great depth to the works she creates.
And the power to create such evocative images of the countryside is just one element of her talent. The Cheshire-born artist studied at Stockport College of Art before going to work as an illustrator on a wide variety of advertising and publishing accounts, and developed her reputation as a figurative and fashion artist.
No stranger to travelling, countries Anne has lived and worked in include Spain, France, Germany and America. She is now living in Wales and at present her work is largely influenced by beaches, the Welsh countryside and her own memories.
